Cisco Network Engineer (Financial Markets, CCNA, Cisco, TCP/IP, Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Juniper) London - 55,000 - 70,000 plus bonus and bens.

Cisco Network Engineer required to run the day to day network operations and support of the network infrastructure as well as working on small to medium sized customer projects. CCNA accredited, you will have experience of working in a medium/large network environment in the financial services domain. Working for the global leader in outsourced services in low latency trading, market data solutions, hosting, co-location, connectivity, hosting and risk management, you will work with the World's leading Investment Banking and Hedge Fund clients.

Working on a rota system within Network Operations you will cover 07:00 - 19:00 Monday to Friday and provide cover outside core business hours via an on-call rota which is currently one week in six.

The Cisco Network Engineer (Financial Markets, CCNA, Cisco, TCP/IP, Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Juniper) will work with a highly experienced team of engineers and be responsible for resolution of all client infrastructure issues. You will have first class technical troubleshooting and analytical skills coupled with outstanding client communication.

Experienced working on customer issues and a strong relationship builder, you MUST have demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, Multicast technologies, BGP, EIGRP, LAN/WAN, Cisco routers and switches with knowledge of Juniper products advantageous.

Duties for the Cisco Network Engineer (Financial Markets, CCNA, Cisco, TCP/IP, Multicast, BGP, EIGRP, LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Juniper) will include:

* Responding to monitoring systems and issues raised by clients or internal departments.

* Fault diagnosis using monitoring tools.

* Use of the onTime ticketing system.

* Raising issues with 3rd parties.
