Senior Systems Engineer – Finance - London
My client is one of the worlds leading Market Data Providers and Financial Analytics for both Investment Banks and Hedge Funds. They are growing rapidly and are looking to make a number of key hires to strengthen their already impressive System Engineering team.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will develop high-level plans, implement solutions and documentation for internal systems infrastructure. They will be responsible for supporting the selection of new infrastructure and technology, evaluation of design options and providing 2nd to 3rd line support for these solutions.
This role is a critical hire to the business. You will have proven, strong Windows Server 2000 / 2003 experience. You will have your MCSE and exposure to Microsoft Exchange 2003/ 2007, VMware ESX, and Distributed File Systems.
Candidates need excellent communication skills both technically presenting plans to team and external high-level communication with business stakeholders.
Candidates do not need any financial services experience; the manager has asked to say profiles from Telecommunications companies especially. They invest heavily in training and career development.
