My client a leading financial firm based in the City is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join its team.

Skills/ Experience required:
Cisco Routing/ Switching skills, Firewalls and CSS Load Balancing Hardware/ Software, Routing Protocols (RIP/ EIGRP/ OSPF/ BGP), LAN/ WAN connectivity and IPSec VPNs; solid understanding of VoIP and QoS.
Knowledge of MPLS, Windows, UNIX/ Linux Administration highly desirable.

Responsibilities will include:
Providing high level, technical support to the network; Will also take responsibility for network projects including new deployments; mentoring junior members of the team and acting as a point of escalation; liaising regularly with global counterparts; working closely with 3rd party suppliers/ vendors to assess, test, and implement new technology; out of hours and weekend work will be involved, including 24/ 7 on-call.
