Software Compliance Manager - Nottingham, East Midlands. Major IT global services company are looking for a manager with extensive commercial Software Compliance Experience. You will: Make recommendations on software purchases and ensure they are logged in the Software Compliance Database (SCD). Ensure that software licenses are maintained adhering to industry standards. Identify unknown software in the Enterprise Management Tool (EMT). Hold the master Software Application List. Produce Software Compliance Reports using data from the SCD and the EMT. Identify spare license availability and manage Licence Pools. Provide business requirements to Procurement for global licensing negotiations. Supporting the Service Line Manager providing Software Compliance Management requirements and recommendations. Project Manage Audit and Reconciliation strategy with the Inventory Management Services. Escalate any software misuse to appropriate authorities. Participate in User Groups for EMT and SCD database development. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have knowledge and experience of Software Asset Management Industry Standards, be a FAST Approved Software Manager, have excellent understanding of Tier 1 Vendor software licensing programmes (such as Microsoft), have good understanding of the necessity for Compliance and associated UK Legislation.
