Linux/ Solaris, Experience of Windows XP desktop and Windows 2003 Server, Standard market data applications, Networking and major desktop applications, Perl / UNIX Shell Scripting.
My Client, an established Hedge Fund adviser, has an urgent requirement for a Bright, Highly Enthusiastic individual to join their London based office.
This role will sit within the Systems Administration team who take responsibility for a broad range of areas, including; CRM, market data feeds, Microsoft Exchange server, desktop PC deployments, security, sourcing new equipment and Perl scripting amongst others.
This is a hands-on technical role, and will provide huge scope for personal development.
You will be passionate about technology with a keenness to kickstart your infrastructure career in a dynamic and challenging environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
o Computer Science Graduate with a 2:1 or above
o Ideally some experience within a similar environment.
o Experience of Windows XP desktop and Windows 2003 Server
o Standard market data applications
o Linux/ Solaris
o Networking and major desktop applications.
o Perl / UNIX Shell Scripting
