My client, a leading Hedge Fund require a Systems Administrator to join their team.
Skills/ Experience (required):
Experience of Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, standard Market Data Applications, Linux/ Solaris, and Networking; Degree educated.
Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
The successful candidate will be dealing with a huge range of technology; Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Market Data feeds, Exchange server, Desktop deployments, security issues, helping setup new offices, sourcing new equipment, Networking, and dealing with problems on automated trading systems to ensuring viable backups and continuity plans are in place. All members of the team have an agreed amount of time to spend on project work and training.
This role has huge learning opportunities, it will suit someone who has a real interest in infrastructure, and a demonstrable aptitude for applying computing concepts and their skills to real problems.
