We are looking for clever start-up people with a wide skills base, who would like to be part of an expert team creating something unique and special. Position Purpose.
We require an Information Security Engineer / Manager to join a highly skilled start-up engineering team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible development and deployment of effective information security measures in accordance with agreed information security standards. Key Points: Ability to present ideas and concepts to a non-technical business audience. Ensuring compliance with FSA and PCI requirements.
Responsible for selection of best-practice security solutions to meet business requirements covering all areas (Technology, Personnel, Process and Physical). Establish Information Security Management System (ie ISO/ IEC 27001 Framework for Managing Security). Technical security evaluation of infrastructure and systems. Manage security incidents to minimise business impact.
Operational security measures including intrusion prevention and detection; vulnerability tracking and scanning; build compliance.
Participate in audits, risk assessments and investigations. Promotion of security awareness, and developing a corporate.
*** Please note that because this client is in a start up phase, they require this individual to also be HIGHLY TECHNICAL.
