Our client a successful and expanding IT organisation require a Technical Support / Consultant to join their Technical Support team in the Nottingham area.
Your core remit for the role will be providing Technical Support to clients via telephone, email or website for specific products and systems. In time, once you have a good understanding of the specific product portfolio and completed training / accreditation you will get involved in environment setup and also on-site installation.
Experienced in a support role you must have a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, MS Exchange and knowledgeable of networking principles including LAN, WAN. Some experience of Network Security principles such Firewalls, Anti Virus is required. Any exposure to any one of the following security products such as RSA, Trend Micro, Secure Computing, Juniper or comparable security products would be highly beneficial. A driving license is also essential.
Salary is £21k-£23k + benefits. An excellent opportunity which offers continuous training and industry recognised accreditations.
