JAVA SUPPORT DEVELOPER – SHELL PERL UNIX - MESSAGING including SWIFT. Top Tier Investment Bank has an excellent opportunity for a Java Support / Developer to come on board. Candidates need to have solid development experience as well as support. My client also requires candidates to have good messaging skills, ideally SWIFT or JMS, MQ, Tibco, XML, Corba and Talarian. The successful candidate will interact on a daily basis with many development and support teams based in any of the banks offices globally, Provide solution oriented and/ or broad advice and consultancy to our application users and maintain technical awareness in the arena of messaging and application infrastructure solutions. Ideally candidates will come from a banking background. Technical skills include: Java development skills, Perl Shell Scripting, SQL (ideally Sybase or UDB), strong Unix/ Linux knowledge. Desired skills include STP, FIN, Interact, FileAct, Browse, MINT and SAG. Unix, SWIFT, Java, C++, Sybase, UDB, Unix/ Linux, STP.
