We are looking for a proactive digital physical design engineer with skills in: digital, IC, SoC, ASIC, physical, design, implementation, verification, RTL, VHDL, Verilog, STA, synthesis, layout, timing, power analysis, ATPG, CTS, LVS, DRC, simulation, DFT, tapeout, perl, tcl, scripting, linux, semiconductor, job.

This is a new opportunity for a physical design engineer to take responsibility for all aspects digital physical design such as synthesis, layout, timing and power analysis, DFT insertion, ATPG, CTS, logical equivalence, LVS, DRC and simulation.

Key responsibilities will include:
·Digital implementation of complex mixed signal ICs
·Verification and sign-off of ICs for tapeout.
·Contribute to the infrastructure and automation of digital physical design flows.
·Work independently and as part of a team, liaising with other groups such as analogue and digital design, packaging and IP providers etc.
·Helping to define and implement strategies to optimise the power, timing and area of ICs.

The right candidate will have:
-A good honours degree from a leading institution, ideally in Electronic Engineering or similar
-Several years previous experience in digital implementation and verification
-Scripting skills in a Linux environment
-Familiar with Verilog, perl, TCL, shell scripts
-Ideally be familiar with Synopsys implementation and verification tools
