Background
Our client aims to create a next generation financial trading platform. They are looking for clever start-up people with a wide skills base, who would like to be part of an expert team creating something unique and special. Experience & Qualifications
·Exposure to a wide variety of platforms. Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Server 2000/ 2003. A good understanding of Active Directory and Domains.
·Some experience of Linux essential.
·Experience of basic networking – switches, firewalls highly desirable.
·Microsoft, RedHat, Cisco and other vendor certifications desirable.
·Experience of MacOS is desirable.
·Ability to write scripts and do some simple web programming is desirable. e.g. Perl.
·Database experience desirable: MS SQL Server or MySQL.
·3+ years IT experience
·Experience of first line or helpdesk support desirable
·Experience of leading a team is desirable.
·Science Degree and Professional certifications desirable.
