C++ Software Engineer / Tools Programming (Games) - Nottingham, East Midlands. My client is looking for an experienced individual with a high level of C++ programming skills with a background relating to video games. The ideal candidate should have had exposure to Design Patterns with solid engineering techniques and should have exposure to as many of the following as possible: Win32, Linux, STL, Boost, network programming, PHP, TCL, Python, 3ds Max scripting plugins, Maya scripting and plugins. In addition experience of developing Windows GUI applications using MFC and Win32 as well as experience of using SQL databases (including design and stored procedures) will be essential.
You will be involved in the design and implementation of new tools and will also be responsible for the improvement of existing tools.
