To help define and configure missing Italian SAP payroll configuration.The Payroll Consultant is an important role that ensures delivery of Payroll modules in projects, which are often country-specific in nature.
ResponsibilityThe Payroll Consultant will be responsible for implementation, customization, configuration and delivery of Payroll modules in projects. This involves implementation planning, business requirement studies, gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-implementation support. Ability to resolve configuration and functional issues across the
various HR modules in a hands-on manner is critical Key Tasks:

Project Scoping phase (Stagegate 0) this role will: oN/ A •During Project Setup
phase (Stagegate 1) this role will:
oAssist project manager in determining missing requirements within the client
SAP based Italian payroll
•During Analyse & Define Blueprint phase
(Stagegate 2) this role will:
oProvide input into configuration and reporting items missing from current configuration
oHave detailed knowledge of Italian payroll oBe able to address any ambiguity around user requirements for a legally compliant Italian payroll
•During Design phase (Stagegate 3) this role will: oProvide design of SAP outstanding reports and system configuration
•During Develop & Prepare
to Deploy (Stagegate 4) phase this role will: oImplement missing SAP Italian payroll configuration
•During Deploy & Stabilisation phase (Stagegate 5) this
role will: oCombined with stage 4
•During Project Closeout phase (Stagegate
6) this role will: oTransition to support of developed functionality Run & Maintain
•Provide feedback / working closely together with Application Support Consultants Project
•Participating in initial information gathering and scope & effort estimations
•Involving in business requirement analysis and detailed scoping study
•Ensuring that all business requirements are properly gathered and documented
•Preparing Gap Analysis and Business Blueprints or Business Process Design Document
•Preparing Functional and Technical Specs as
necessary
•Actively participating in all phases of the project and assisting the project manager in business users and other stakeholders engagements as necessary * Responsible for successful delivery of the project to an agreed
Experience :
Working closely with assigned Conversion Consultant to ensure test and real data are properly loaded to the servers
•Working closely with Interface Consultant to ensure HR interfaces to other systems are properly
setup
•Working closely with Authorisation Consultant to ensure user roles and security matrix are properly setup •Performing unit testing and liaising with the
testing team on execution of scenario and integration testings
•Providing guidance to the business users during UCT and DCT
•Liaising with the Operation Applications team to ensure solutions are properly deployed and configurations are transported to the Quality (Regression Testing) and
Production Servers
•Transferring Knowledge to the Application Support
team
•Actively representing the project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained with the business.
•Providing constructive feedbacks to project manager or line manager on the effective
execution of projects
•Engaging with the appropriate users within the business
to ensure that their concerns are addressed and expectation managed - maintains their project commitment through proactive, regular and effective
engagement
•Providing advice to users regarding project's key aspects and decisions
•Responsible for functional issues resolution and escalation to the project manager where necessary
•Assisting and cooperating with Project
Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating the team's activities to manage and implement project and/ or interrelated projects from contract/ proposal initiation to final operational stage.
•Delivering assigned tasks on time and meet quality requirements
•Informing Project Manager about
any project risks identified.
•Informing Project Manager about any change in
project requirements and project scope.
•Participating actively in status review
meetings among project team members and clients as necessary.
•Assisting project manager in preparation of project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
