Global trading organisation looking for an experienced Test Manager to work within their Trade Control division. You will be responsible for scoping, planning, budgeting and co-ordinating all aspects of testing related to the new Trade Control system. You will lead all aspects of functional and technical testing in a multi-disciplined, matrix-managed team comprising specialised testers, Business Analysts, Functional and Technical Architects, data specialists and Project Managers. In addition you will also be responsible for formulating testing strategies. Experience in the following technical areas is required for this role: experience supporting Middleware technologies e.g. TIBCO; UNIX Shell Scripting ; knowledge of Rational Clear Case; working experience of Windows 2000 Server and Active Directory; experience of ANT scripting; RDBMS skills (query level); experience in systems Monitoring/ Reporting; experience in Data Replication Technologies; knowledge of Relational/ SQL and or Oracle Databases, and ODBC connections; Networking fundamentals, including TCP/ IP, DHCP, LAN, WAN (however detailed Cisco knowledge is NOT required) and Server hardware, in particular the HP range. In addition you will also need the following skills: experience of writing Technical Documentation; knowledge of JIRA, Clearcase and Clearquest software; know ledge of ITIL; a good understanding of IT related business processes; experience in operating within a major business/ IT transformation project environment and experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams.
