My client is one of the most successful and prestigious investment banks in the world, seeking strong technologists to join a team in their Sales IT area.
The team require strong developers to work on their strategic GUI framework which has been developed in C#/ .NET technologies. The framework allows multiple for back end systems to link in to a unified GUI that allows the traders and front office sales team to call upon multiple functionality in a single application.
You be involved in the full SDLC and will be expected to contribute to design and architecture discussions with the business and other IT teams, as well as server-side and client-side development work on the GUI framework.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate a high level of C# understanding particularly with regards to multithreaded development and WinForms. You will have experience developing highly scalable systems and will have a particular focus on performance. Banking experience is not necessary, although you should have a demonstrable desire to work within finance. Strong academic and commercial achievement is required.
