Electro - Mechanical Test Engineer - 3 Months Contract - East Anglia - Market Rates
Our client is a leading company in it’s field and has achieved the highest levels of success with in it’s market sector. They urgently require an Electro - Mechanical Test Engineer to join them immediately.
You must have proven experience in the following:
-HNC / HND qualified Test Egineer
-Experience with digital and analog electro-mechanical servo systems including troubleshooting and tuning.
-Knowledge of the Windows operating environment is essential.
-The ability to design and manufacture bespoke test equipment
-Good communications and documentation skills are essential
-The ability to work unsupervised is essential
-A sound understanding of electronic circuitry with the ability to diagnose faults to component level is essential
-Use of Microsoft Office products (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, OUTLOOK )is essential
You will also preferably have experience in the following:
-Experience with embedded control systems including troubleshooting and failure analysis.
-The ability to do simple C shell programming is preferable.
-Knowledge of networking, TCP/ IP and UDP desirable
-The knowledge and ability to do simple systems administrative functions both in the MS Windows and UNIX environment is desirable
-An awareness of CE requirements for electro-mechanical devices specifically the “Low Voltage Directive” the “Machinery Directive”, and the “EMC” directive is desirable
-Elementary skills with both electrical and mechanical CAD systems are desirable.
You will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for final product testing, including power supplies, control systems and electro – mechanical items also under taking fault finding. You will also need to help devise equipment test procedures and provide Test documentation.
