A Global Investment Bank is seeking an Infrastructure expert to join their London based operation.
*CAN YOU MANAGE BUT ALSO TROUBLESHOOT OR BUILD A WINDOWS SERVER WITHOUT DELEGATING.
*THIS IS A TECHNICAL ROLE!!! HANDS-OFF MANAGERS NEED NOT APPLY!!!
The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and operations of the IT infrastructure estate and team. Services to be supported include: networks (WAN/ LAN), systems/ storage/ servers, Exchange, telephony, dealer-boards, AV, remote access and desktop.
The successful candidate MUST have strong VMWare, IBM SAN Storage, Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server 2003 along with experience of leading teams!

Data Network Architecture
- Technical Design
- LAN / VLAN/ WLAN / WAN / MAN technologies and protocols
- TCP/ IP and MPLS Traffic Management and Monitoring - DNS/ DHCP Design and Configuration
Voice Network Architecture
- VOIP over LAN / WAN
Server / Storage Technologies
- IBM SAN Storage (N-series), configuration, management
- VMWare ESX - Server Farm Virtualisation
- Microsoft Active Directory / Multi-site
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills
- Microsoft Exchange 2003
Desktop & other experience
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Technical troubleshooting and analysis
- IT migrations and upgrades – systems, networks and data
