Project Controls Manager / Senior Project Controller
A rare opportunity has become available for a Project Controls Manager to work for a global company from their offices near Crawley (Sussex).
My client are a globally-reknowned energy organisation that work on prestigious projects across the globe. Sector involvement includes oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, power, nuclear, etc. They are currently working on large power-related schemes (construction within power) worth between £200m and £400m each.
They currently require a Project Controls Manager to be based from their office near Crawley and to head up some of these major projects. Your role will involve leading the planning function and more junior members of staff, whilst also being involved in creating detailed project plans using MS Project (primarily), monitoring and updating progress, progress reporting, critical path analysis, liaising with clients, contractors, etc.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
- Significant planning/ project controls experience within any sector, although energy sectors would be a distinct advantage (power, nuclear, O+G, etc).
- A degree/ HND, etc, in an engineering related discipline would be advantageous.
- Strong communicator and team player.
- Experience of working in a PCM role would be a distinct advantage.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
In return, my client will offer a basic salary of between £45,000 and £55-60,000 per annum depending upon your level of experience (candidates will have to demonstrate considerable PCM experience for the higher end).
