C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET programmer for Wealth Management Firm, Basingstoke, Relational database design and programming, large distributed transactional systems, Web services, Unit testing, HTML, IIS, full life-cycle of development.
My client is a world leader in financial protection and wealth management, with major operations worldwide. They are currently looking for an experienced C# application developer with strong .NET and SQL Server programming skills. The successful candidate will be working on new, Greenfield projects building large distributed systems and involved in the full life-cycle of development, from architecture and design through to implementation and testing.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team within an established organisation, and therefore given responsibilities from day one.
Essential Skills:
-C#/ .net framework v2 - ASP .NET, HTML, IIS.
- Proven Relational database design and programming skills.
- Experience of working with large distributed transactional systems.
- General understanding of distributed system architecture.
- Unit testing (formal/ informal, NUnit/ Visual Studio)
Desired Skills:
- Programming Web services, windows services, business and data logic assemblies, strongly typed datasets.
-Experience of design or involvement of design of architectural solutions.
- Exposure to / understanding of packaging and deployment.
- SQL Server 2005
- Full project lifecycle experience
