SAP Portals Consultant - Birmingham, West Midlands. Portal versions - EP5 SP5 (min), EP6 SP6 (even better) Installation Database (Oracle / MS SQL Server), Operating Systems (Windows 2000 / 2003, Unix, Linux) Java Environment Setup, Portal Install, ODBC/ JDBC SAP Basis Installation (DESIREABLE) Development Java Knowledge of Portal Developer Kit iViews, eventing, Single Sign On, system connections) SAP GUIs (ITS, Java, Win), Web Development skills (Java preferably but Microsoft is a good start), XML, SAP WebDynpro Add-ons Knowledge Management Content Management and (TREX) Searching Collaboration Portal Business Packages Security Web (https) SAP (SNC) LDAP and/ or Active Directory SAP user management SAP Role based security. It is expected that the candidate would have a good background as a SAP developer involved in developing interfaces over several lifecycles. Experience of working in a support environment is also desirable. A highly experience SAP ABAP developer with recent experience of OO ABAP.
