This is an excellent chance to join one of the UK’s leading Defence businesses operating at the forefront of global technology across Land / Sea and Air Electronics Systems and Equipment

You will be responsible for providing technical guidance to Assembly Integration and Test Teams and the RF and Digital Debug for Production, Retrofit and Repair of Avionic modules and Line Returnable Items.


Key Responsibilities
·Verification of queried test results provided by AIT (assembly, integration and test) or a TDC (technical diagnostics cell).
·Provision of technical diagnostic advice to facilitate repair via module exchange.
·Performance of LRI debug, including RF sensitivity, gain and cable loss measurement, and appreciation of VME, SDLC and wire/ optical bus operation.
·Training of test operators and TDC staff.

Key Skills and Experience
·Qualified in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
·Familiar with Digital / RF production, development and integration test diagnostics
·Performing fault finding to module level methodically and via range of test equip.
·Knowledge across disciplines (to address failures caused by SW/ Mech etc)
