Windows Systems Admin - London my client is a leading provider of domain names and Internet-related services. The Windows Systems administrator is responsible for optimisation of Windows servers and related components in to achieve high availability and performance of the business applications. Experience with high availability solutions, IIS, MS SQL, Active Directory, Exchange (2003 is preferable), Server 2000/ 2003 and exposure to LAN/ WAN protocols TCP/ IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Firewalls.You will be Microsoft certifed (MCP or MCSE). It would be an advantage to have some Microsoft scripting languages such as ASP or C#. Any previous ISP or hosting experience would be an advantage.This role does involve a monthly on call rota.
