They are seeking a Test Analyst to join their team working on leading edge financial valuation products for the alternative investment market. You will will be involved in all elements of testing reporting to the test manager.

You will join an experienced and passionate team preparing to develop the next generation of products for a varied and familiar client base.

My client is seeking strong candidates with both testing and industry experience. You might expect to:

-Design and execute test scripts and analyse their results
-Record test results in order for reporting purposes
-Where appropriate raise defect reports and track them to their resolution
-Liaise with developers with respect to defect reports and requirements
-Become an Subject Matter Expert in our applications


Requirements:
Education and Qualifications:
- ISEB Foundation Certificate or equivalent

Commercial Experience:

Essential
- minimum of 3 years work experience of testing within an investment banking or financial software house environment
- Experience of testing web based applications
- Structured approach to the creation of test scripts
- A good understanding of test processes, and how testing fits within the SDLC
- Exposure to automated testing tools and technologies
- Experience with file based data interfaces and have competency in file manipulation by hand
- Hands-on database experience including competency constructing database queries by hand

Preferred
-Experience of derivatives products
-Mercury based testing tools
