The Infrastructure manager will be responsible for the day to day management and operations of the global IT infrastructure estate and team. Services to be supported include: networks (WAN/ LAN), systems/ storage/ servers, Exchange, telephony, dealer-boards, AV, remote access and desktop.
The successful candidate will have experience of the following:
Data Network Architecture
- Technical Design
- LAN / VLAN/ WLAN / WAN / MAN technologies and protocols
- TCP/ IP and MPLS Traffic Management and Monitoring - DNS/ DHCP Design and Configuration
Voice Network Architecture
- VOIP over LAN / WAN
Server / Storage Technologies
- IBM SAN Storage (N-series), configuration, management
- VMWare ESX - Server Farm Virtualisation
- Microsoft Active Directory / Multi-site
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills
- Microsoft Exchange 2003
Desktop & other experience
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Technical troubleshooting and analysis
- IT migrations and upgrades – systems, networks and data
- Security Configuration / Management – Firewalls/ IDS/ VPN/ AV Protection/ GPO's
- Disaster Recovery Management
- Capacity Management, Availability Management
- Continuity Management
Financial Services
- Knowledge of financial services – preferably Investment Banking (Equities and Advisory)
- Understanding of business operations back office and front office
