My client, a leader in its field require a Telecoms Installation Engineer to join their team.
Skills/ Experience (required):
Proven track record on installations which incorporate VoIP solutions; Extensive experience of installing IP Office, voicemail pro and associated applications, VoiP experience is essential; ACA accreditation a bonus but not essential; Excellent PC skills and a good working knowledge of LAN's/ WAN's; Excellent customer facing skills; Must be self motivated with the desire to learn and cross train on to other systems; Work as and if necessary be able to be lead engineer on installs.
Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
Pre-dominantly installations and occasional maintenance; Required to cover maintenance calls if the need arises. The successful candidate needs to have a flexible outlook and be prepared for last minute changes in scheduled work; Will ideally posses or be close to gaining Avaya accreditation, an ACA would be advantageous but not essential; You must have excellent communications skills, as you a key part of the role will be liaising with project management, sales and the service desk when on maintenance; You must have a good working knowledge of LAN architecture and be computer literate; Demonstrable experience of VoiP installations.
