Our client is currently looking for a Networks Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and developing the Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and the Avaya Index telephone system. This person will also be responsible for the build and maintenance of all servers, the integrity of data on all servers, including data backup and disaster recovery. Specifically required is in dept experience of implementation, support and maintenance of server operating systems Windows NT, 2000, 2003 as well as support and maintenance of industry standard data back up and restoration as well as monitoring and administration software. Working closely within a group of technical specialists responsible for IT networks communication and knowledge sharing to the Group. Skills required are excellent Hardware, Software, WAN and LAN technology skills, preferably demonstrated though the attainment of recognised industry qualifications. You should already have supported and developed a working network succesfully.
