My client a leading Financial consultancy company require a Desktop Support Analyst to join their organisation.

Skills/ Experience (required):
Knowledge of basic PC hardware architecture; Knowledge of Windows XP; Good Microsoft Office XP/ 2003 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); good Outlook (on-line, off-line, public folders, etc) skills §General Internet knowledge covering browsers and how to access sites.

Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to):
Manage and prioritise user requests via a helpdesk web based ticketing system; Assist users with general day to day requests for IT support; Building workstations for new users; Mobile phone and blackberry activation; PBX telecoms change, move and add telephone extensions; Communicate problem resolution effectively with IT team members locally and globally.
