The Role
As Project Controls Manager, you will lead a variety of commissions, managing teams of project controls professionals or providing consultancy services to their clients. PCM’s are expected to be a highly experienced practitioner in planning, cost and reporting disciplines. Your typical activities will include managing controls teams across the full range of project control activity, providing specialist controls consultancy, advice on project controls systems and processes, training and project audit/ recovery. Alternatively, you may be a specialist planning manager with good appreciation of overall project control approaches.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- At least eight years planning/ project controls experience.
- Highly conversant in both planning and cost engineering methodologies.
- A proven track record as a project controls leader, managing teams and delivering successful solutions for clients.
- Good IT skills - should be able to pick up new systems readily and utilise them in highly effective ways.
- Must be proactive, leaders and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
