My client underwrites a diverse portfolio of property, casualty, marine and commercial insurance and reinsurance business globally.
Over the next few years, they will be consolidating and refreshing their existing core insurance processing systems with applications. In order to progress this activity and to continue to support day to day business needs, a top-notch Business Analyst is required.
The successful candidate will:
• Gain a thorough knowledge of the company's business practices and processes and the IT systems currently used to support them
• Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are captured and documented in a standard format and are signed off by the business before implementation begins
• Work with the IT development teams to translate the business requirements into a suitable design.
• Communicate progress, plans, issues and risks to the designated Project Manager and where appropriate to the Systems Implementation Manager once development is underway

You must have:
• Substantial Business Analysis experience, preferably in the London Market or commercial insurance sectors
• Experience of structured analysis and design techniques
• Experience of data modelling, preferably UML
• Experience of System Testing
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Toolset, preferably including Microsoft Project
