SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, BRISTOL

This is a KEY role @ this Client of ours... You will work in a Linux & C environment and you should already be doing a role of (or similar to) a Software Manager... £60,000pa basic + major benefits, THIS IS A VERY GOOD SALARY..!

It is a very specialised Software Manager role which will suit YOU if you are an experienced Software Manager or you are doing a role which INCLUDES much of that type of work... You should definitely be from a C & Linux background...

There is no absolute / specific Linux Derivative which is required, so any of the leading LINUX derivatives such as Red Hat / RHEL, Debian, GENTOO, Carrier-Grade SuSe etc. etc. will all be OK.

You should have good knowledge of C Libraries (including, Company-wide, Module / Routine / Sub-routine / Program Libraries) and the associated Version Control, Programming & Coding Standards AND the necessary People-skills to handle a role on a Company-wide basis.

At ~£60,000pa Basic Salary + bonus + pension + package of other benefits ON TOP, this represents an excellent, un-parallel'd opportunity to enhance and develop your career.

Typically, the Manager roles at this level, don't usually involve Programming (or MUCH Programming), so is definitely a major step-up from Development work...
