My client, a leading provider of trading and risk and analytics products, is presently looking for a talented database developer and DBA to work within a fast growing and friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in database design and SQL programming and solid academics.

Strong candidates should have

* Experience in Database design
* At least 2 years proven record in SQL development
* Knowledge of SQLServer 2005
* Knowledge of stored procedures and query optimisation
* Some knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Perl

You will be working within a team of database developers and software engineers with the main focus the handling and manipulation of financial data, database design and implementation. An appreciation of financial and mathematical concepts is preferred as well as the interest to keep up-to date with new technologies.
