Oracle Developer
Work Experience, Knowledge/ Qualifications and Skills required:
Essential:
Have extensive commercial experience of the following:
•Oracle RDBMS 9i and above
•Oracle Forms / Reports (10g)
•PL/ SQL programming language
•Oracle Designer/ 2000 toolset
•Experienced in analysis and design especially data modelling and database design.
•Experienced in specification of changes to multiple business/ IT systems to deliver a process change
Further to the above skill set it is also essential that the candidate meets the below requirements;
•Must have free movement around the European Community (particularly UK and Germany)
•Customer focussed
•Possesses a broad knowledge of a trading business (energy trading preferred), its functions and systems.
•Will have proven ability to work as part of a team.
•Manage the resolution of system faults from initial logging through analysis of the problem, correction and solution implementation.
•Will be able to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment, and be capable of prioritising and working on multiple tasks at any one time.
•Excellent organisational skills and ability to co-ordinate across different groups
Desirable:
Experience of as many of the following as possible:-
•Experience of C#.NET, VB, JScript, VBScript, ASP, C++, Object-Oriented Programming Design Principles
•Experience of SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager & Query Analyser (T-SQL programming language)
•Experience of E*Gate 4.5.3 middleware product
•Experience of UK Energy trading
•Experience of multi-country, multi-company projects
•Experience of full project life cycle and formal project management method - Prince 2
•Experienced in working in organisations of the size of RWE
•Experience of the NETA/ BETTA market.
