Our client, a leading national professional services organisation, requires an experienced IT Services Manager to manage the day to day operation of all IT services across the business. These IT services include the business application portfolio, the desktop applications and the underlying infrastructure that supports these applications. With a team of circa 40 permanent staff, including 7 direct reports plus contract resource, the role requires significant people management expertise. With full IT service provision responsibility, the role requires total commitment to IT service resolution and restoration where any issues arise.
We are looking for an experienced IT Service Manager with a demonstrable track record in IT Application Support and / or Operations management. You must have managed similar sized IT service teams previously (circa 40) and have 3rd party management experience. Web application support experience is also required as the role is responsible for the provision of the corporate internet and intranet. We are happy to consider experienced and Business Application Support Senior Managers or Senior Managers from IT Operations. A combination of expertise in both areas would be highly desirable. A strong working knowledge of ITIL is essential and any level of ITIL accreditation is also highly desirable.
