The Background
An expanding company offering a wide range of systems, software and project management services, this exciting company is looking to recruit a Principal Software Systems Engineer. In this position you will undertake system/ software design, development, integration and unit test activities across a range of transport projects.
The Role:
In this position, your key responsibilities will include:
Requirements capture and analysis
System/ Software Architecture and detailed design
Extensive use of OOD/ OOA and UML
System/ Software development
System/ Software validation and verification
The Person:
The successful candidate will have skills in some or all of the following: UML, C, C++, C#, .Net Framework, Java, SQL Server, Oracle Database and web applications.
You will have knowledge of project management, system/ software engineering ideally of high-integrity systems development environment, in which systems are mission-critical, business-critical or safety-critical.
Requirements capture and analysis, including safety requirements and previous knowledge of systems validation and verifications are desirable.
You will work both individually and within a team of multi-disciplined specialists and engineering disciplines to achieve programme results.
