Provides our cleint with the technical infrastructure that delivers and support the platform, (Compaq, HP and Sun), Operating Systems (Windows, Solaris, HPUX), Database Management Systems (Sybase, Oracle, MSSQL) and Management Systems (Messaging, Active Directory, Capacity Planning, Enterprise Management) to the bank.

Main Function
Oracle Production DBA within the Global Database Team London

Main Duties
Fluent in Oracle 8, 9 and 10G performnace tuning. Detailed knowledge of partitioning . Detailed knowledge of DBMS software and awareness of it's capabilities and shortcoming. Experince of supporting high profile systems in a financial institution.

Person Requirements
Self starter, able to communicate under to pressure and deliver to tight time scales.
