NETWORK COMMISSIONING ENGINEERS
SPEED ENFORCEMENT SYSTEMS
BASED WATFORD/ M25 OR KIDDERMINSTER
ATTRACTIVE PACKAGE + CAR
Our client is about to launch a new product to market which will be the first of its type in the UK. The speed monitoring system is microprocessor based and relies heavily on WAN / LAN networks to function. They have won a major contract to install the latest state of the art speed monitoring cameras which calculate average speed from any two points in the speed detection zone within the Greater London area.
They now require some Network Engineers to set up a complex WAN alongside the road side within designated areas. This will involve workshop testing and installation and commissioning of the network.
Part of the operations and maintenance department, successful candidates will be key personnel who can take the product from R&D and install the basic equipment or supervise the installation of the system. You will then commission individual sites, ultimately commissioning the complete system which will comprise of a number of sites, WAN connections via fibre, satellite, or 3G and a central database facility.
The roles will be based out of their Watford or Kidderminster service centres but will entail long periods working by the road side and sometimes at height. On successful rollout of the systems there will be an ongoing requirement to help with the maintenance and fault finding of the systems and feedback to R&D for future improvements.
Qualified to HNC level or higher, you will have relevant network setup experience gained within a complex IT or Telecoms employer. Career prospects within the UK and overseas with this rapidly expanding company are excellent.
