GTL EPCM PROJECTS
HOME OFFICE BASED
We are seeking three home office based Project Inspection Coordinators to work as part of the inspection team for a major GTL EPCM Project. The role involves managing the inspection of Project procurement equipment orders, liaising with the Client, suppliers and Inspection agencies. There is an opportunity for travel when chairing Pre Inspection Meetings and addressing particular inspection problems. Previous Shell experience and knowledge of “Flawless Start-Up Initiative” would be preferred.
As Senior Inspector, you must have the ability to work as an office based QC inspection coordinator and to interface with the Client. Previous EPC inspection coordination experience as well as an awareness of the traditional vendors used by EPC contractors and their QC strengths and weaknesses are required.
You must have the ability to organize and chair Pre Inspection Meetings, interpret standards, codes & regulations, comment on suppliers documentation such as inspection & test plans (ITPs), NDE & testing procedures and to process concession requests and non conformance reports. You must be confident reviewing field inspections reports and must be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
You should ideally be qualified to HNC level in any relevant engineering discipline, and previous Shell experience and knowledge of Flawless Start-up Initiative would be highly advantageous. The ability to cope with conflict situations as well as negotiation skills and the ability to give a clear presentation would be useful.
