Aston Carter is searching for a system engineer to join a dynamic media company based in Dublin.
You will be in charge of the support of a large diverse technically savvy internet services environment. This will include the design, development and implementation of the new technical infrastructure, monitor and manage internet services, and suggest improvements to the infrastructure. This is a large challenging environment which will provide a challenging department for a talented IT professional. Essential Skills:
Experience with comprehensive knowledge of server hardware
Able to design, implement, document solutions
Broad experience with many IT services
Open to new technologies and be eager to learn them
Expert knowledge of: Windows Server 2003, Active Directory,TCP/ IP, IIS, HP Hardware and monitoring tools, Automation tools such as Altiris deployment server, Client / Server applications, Windows debugging tools (WinDBG, Sysinternals tools)
Linux, Cisco, Netscreen, HP Switches, Netscaler, VMWare ESX, Microsoft Clustering, and SAN experience a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
