INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER - Global Financial Firm - Hampshire - Rate v.good negotiable on experience - 6 months+
An opportunity has become available within IT Operations for an Infrastructure Project Manager - The projects are predominantly IT Infrastructure related, covering both the installations of new services/ environments as well as significant change/ upgrade projects within existing production environments. The role will require strong matrix management skills and may require some management of third parties together with some line management responsibility.
Essential experience/ qualifications:-
• BANKING / FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE
• Proven project management experience within a high availability IT operations environment
• Experience of setting up and running IT infrastructure projects (£1m+)
• Management of projects involving UNIX based systems
• Prince 2 Practitioner level or equivalent
• Knowledge/ experience of ITIL and Service Management principles
