LONG TERM CAPACITY PLANNER

A Long Term Capacity Planner is now required at this major multi-national consumer goods company which markets more than 250 brands to five million consumers in 130 countries.

Based in Grays, Essex the Long Term Capacity Planner will represent London in any mid/ long term supply related matter with the Marketing Development Organisation and Global Business Unit. In this role you will be the representative of the Marketing Development Organisation within the London plant, via a production plan that integrates the Marketing Development Organisation’s demands and initiatives and Supply, operations and Distribution constraints.

Your responsibilities will include running GMPS solver and notifying any capacity shortfalls and subsequent customer service shortfalls to team and leadership. You will attend daily team meetings and identify all codes below stock for all Marketing Development Organisations. You will update the Product Availability file from source 1 information. Furthermore you will investigate and root case all missed cases with Marketing Development Organisations/ DC using analysis. You will also issue a modules daily availability report.

Successful candidates will require a demonstrated advanced level in systems e.g. SAP, Excel, Word, Powerpoint or the ability to acquire these skills within three months. You will need advanced knowledge of the business and Global Business Unit/ Marketing Development Organisation priorities, category operating strategies, supply chain tools in programs such as MRPII and MSM. Candidates will also require good personal organisation, communication, problem solving/ decision making skills. The ability to be highly autonomous is also required as this role has high exposure and numerous interfaces both internally and externally to the plant.
