SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER - HEDGE FUND - LONDON
IT infrastructure project and programme leadership, Project management concepts and techniques, including Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project.

My Client, a world leader in the Hedge Fund markets, has an urgent requirement for a HIGH LEVEL infrastructure PM to join their London based team.

This role will report into the Head of Infrastructure and Operations in London offering high visibility and superb reward for a job well done.

You will be responsible for driving the infrastructure transformation programme and rolling out project and programme management methods and disciplines throughout the Infrastructure team.

Your remit will cover:

• Control of a virtual transformation programme management team made up of project managers and staff within the Infrastructure organisation and third party suppliers
• Maintenance of the programme plan and track activity
• Identification and management of programme inter-dependencies
• Tracking and reporting expenditure and the budget position
• Identification of programme risks and issues, communication to the appropriate parties for resolution
• Preparation of reports and material needed for the IT Steering Board or the Infrastructure Program Board as required
• Coaching of the Infrastructure line managers in programme and project management as needed.

KEY SKILLS:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure project and programme leadership roles (ideally global)
• Thorough knowledge of project management concepts and techniques, including Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Degree qualified
• Comfortable with working within a flexible, virtual team structure; able to influence others and direct activity without formal authority.
• Able to mentor and guide others through project processes.
