Our client, a software development company who specialise in the development of web based software aimed at degree students who are managing their portfolio require an excellent C# / ASP.Net Developer to start a contract asap. The system that is currently in place is in needs of an agressive re-design with additional functionality. They are using C# and ASP.Net for the main development languages, therefore you will require excellent knowledge and experience of C# and ASP.Net although an undertsanding of Visual Basic (VB.NET) would be beneficial as this has been used previously for the front end aspects of the system. The back end server is SQL Server 2000 and this is moving to SQL Server 2005. You would need to have an understanding of stored procedures and general SQL Server file structures. The role is to work within an existing team and they need a contractor to be based in their offices in Coventry to ensure that the project deadline go live is achieved.
