Development Database Administrator, Guildford, Surrey. My client is a well established and successful company is seeking a Development Database Administrator. You will have the following skills, Oracle 9i and 10g, ETHER, Jboss, Apache or Tomcat. Ideally PotgreSQL and any Cold fusion would be useful. You will also have Server Management. including: installation of new applications, installation of upgrades and patches, investigation into server issues (e.g. memory leaks), storage and performance optimisation. Skills in Database Management. Including: creating new databases, tablespaces, schemas etc optimising queries- contributing to database design phase.
