A Logistics Process Engineer is now required at this major multi-national consumer goods company which markets more than 250 brands to five million consumers in 130 countries. Based in Grays, Essex as Logistics Process Engineer you will represent the London plant in supply chain product teams and European network meetings.
As an expert in Supply Chain, the Logistics Process Engineer advises the integrated supply chain organisation and puts processes and systems in place to optimize the supply chain. He/ she acts as the trainer and coach to the supply chain team on designated topics (for instance detailed understanding of Serpat requirements and PTD concepts).
Your responsibilities will include training the supply chain organisation so that the target competence is acquired on Serpat. You will be responsible for your own MMo and receiving ERP skills matrix. You will be responsible for the flow map supply chain to identify improvement areas and savings. You will lead the Site PTD Program and hold training and review sessions. You will also perform audits on Serpat KEA and define actions to get to target score. You will also report Serpat measures and do gap analysis. Furthermore you will initiate and implement process improvements in the supply chain.
Successful candidates will have advanced level skills in systems SAP, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes or the ability to acquire this in a maximum of three months. You will have a basic level in APO/ GMPS. Furthermore, you will require an advanced knowledge of the business and GBU/ MDO priorities, category operating strategies and supply chain tools like Serpat, PTD. You will also need very strong analytical skills, communication, problem solving/ decision making skills as well as fluency in English. You will also require the ability to be highly autonomous in leading a team and liaising with the outside world.
