Engineer/ Optical Support Engineer Egham Surrey required by major telecoms provider. Your key responsibilities include: 3rd line Support on Transmission SDH/ DWDM networks: To mentor and assist 2nd line team members and participate in strategic projects such as upgrades, POP installs, node cut-ins/ cut-outs, DCN optimisation You will have in depth knowledge of Nortel and preferably Huawei DWDM, SDH equipment and have experience in working in a 3rd line technical capacity for a Vendor or Service Provider. Basic Ethernet and EOS knowledge is also required. The role involves being part of an on-call rota. This is an excellent opportunity so please send you CV to Keith
