An experienced IT Consultant is immediately required to work on a permanent basis for an established solutions provider based out of Cardiff. The requirement exists to implement various IT solutions for a wide range of clients from small to medium sized businesses.
As IT Consultant (Network/ Server Engineer) you will be responsible for supporting the Cisco Network and Microsoft Server environments as well as project leadership of end to end IT solutions from specification through to design, configuration, implementation, documentation and training.
To be successful in this position as Network / Server Engineer you will possess a good working knowledge of SAN, VoIP, Exchange 2003 Cluster deployments, Group Policies, Vista Rollout projects and migration solutions. Furthermore you will be well versed to the delivery of disaster recovery, backup and security / anti-virus strategies.
If you can demonstrate the above competencies within a multi site technical support environment that has often required cross platform knowledge (Windows and Red hat Linux) then this could be your next move.
