Skills/ Experience (required):
Helpdesk support and the installation and support of applications such as Microsoft Windows XP and 2000; Strong technical background with proven experience of installing configures, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network interaction problems; Your technical experience will also include Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server 2K/ 2K3, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft IIS 6; Knowledge and experience of the Samsung Telephone system or of PBX maintenance/ administration on a similar system will be an advantage; Candidates should have ITIL Foundation and MCSE is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):
You will provide a single point of contact for incidents and a range of service requests and be responsible for ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently providing support and guidance to the Help Desk team where required. You will also be responsible for maintaining the internal and hosting infrastructures including hardware, networking, operating systems and application components whilst continually protecting the security and integrity of the company's systems. Reporting to the IT Network Manager, you will also be involved in network and user support related projects.
