My client, a leading Insurance company require an IT Director to join their organisation.
Skills/ Experience (required):
Experienced IT professional with a strong track record in delivering IT strategy, solutions and benefits; Commercial awareness; A motivational leader, able to build consensus, but can provide clear direction as appropriate in a challenging, growth environment; The ability to effectively communicate in all forms at all levels within an organisation with tact and diplomacy and balance differing interests; Results orientated – able to focus on specific targets and demonstrate target achievement; Tenacity – the ability to be clear and focused on achieving the end result even when faced with repeated external obstacles.
Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):
Formulate and implement the IT strategy; Participate as part of the Directors group in delivering strategic goals and provide advice, guidance and direction in the commercial development of the business to assist in driving forward the growth strategy; Responsible for IT development, operations, strategy and project services; Devise and deliver solutions covering all aspects of systems to meet the strategic goals; Work closely with the Board and Directors to identify and agree new processes and efficiencies that will raise profitability and service levels, positioning the business at the forefront of its sector and raising competitive advantage.
