My client is a leading provider of trading software solutions for investors across the globe.
There is currently a requirement for a Network Services Engineer to join a team with responsibility for the design, implementation and full operational support of all Network Services.
KEY SKILLS
• Strong LAN and WAN experience, working with Cisco routers (7000 series through to 1800 series) and switches (Cisco Catalyst product family)
• Knowledge of Networking architectures, industry best practice routing and switching design principles (i.e. Cisco Campus design- multilayered LAN architecture)
• Working knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, multicast and BGP) and switching protocols (Vlans, STP, RSTP, VTP, trunking, CEF and)
• Experience of implementation and management including stateful packet inspection and proxy firewall technologies on a range of platforms, including Checkpoint FW-1, Cisco PIX, FWSM
• Load balancing experience. Preferably using F5 LTM (version 9) and GTM load balancers, SSL certificate administration
