SQL Developer/ Analyst
Role/ Team Summary:
An opportunity has risen for an expert analyst / developer to join the Sales and Client MI team. The team consists of 25 developers working on a number of varied projects delivering systems to support the Sales Front Office Business area. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use the latest technologies to drive forward a number of key projects within the bank. The application is Client Value which provides MIS and Reporting capabilities for Income and Revenue information via a layered architecture where data is staged, integrated and made available for reporting.
Role specific responsibilities
•Participation in all parts of the software development lifecycle.
•Analysing business requirements to construct robust solutions.
•Design, development and testing of new and existing components.
The work in this area involves:
•Developing software to process trade data into data warehouses
Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
Business Knowledge
Experience within a front office environment and proven ability to liaise and communicate effectively with the business.
Technical Knowledge
•SQL Server 2005: Database design; T-SQL; stored procedures, triggers
•Microsoft Analysis Services 2005 with MDX
•ASP.NET 2.0, C#
